the sender transmits a single frame and waits for the ACK from the receiver before sending the next
frame. The sender cannot transmit a new frame until the ACK is received from the other side. Since
either the frame or the ACK can be transmitted at a time, this technique is also known as one-bitsliding
windowprotocol.
Notice that the ACK will not be received by the sender if the frame has been lost during the
