It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Control Field for U-Frame
In U-frame, the first two bits specify the type of the frame. For a U-frame, these bits are always set to 11.
The next two bits before the P/F bit and the last three bits following the P/F bit correspond to the code
bits in the control field. These five code bits together can create up to 32 di ferent types of U-frames.
