1.1 Introduction

In designing the feedback controller for every control system structure, we always assume that the mathematical model corresponding to the plant is known in prior, i.e. the process of designing the controller is based on the priori knowledge of the plant. But this assumption does not hold in reality, i.e. the considered plant is unknown, in which case the mathematical model of the plant may be identified by many system identification methods.
