Chapter 2 Data Driven Model Predictive Control
2.1 Introduction
In this chapter, some newly derived results about system identification are applied in the model predictive control. To emphasize that the model predictive control is based on system identification, the name of the data driven model predictive control is used here. More specifically, two concepts—bounded error and interval predictor model, coming from the system identification theory, are introduced into model predictive control. Further, the stability analysis and the robustness of the data driven model predictive control are also studied.
