Chapter 6 Category Three: Scheme How well does the model match its scheme?

The “Scheme” category checks that the data model we are reviewing matches our expectation for its scheme. The scheme includes level of detail (conceptual, logical, and physical), and also whether relational, dimensional, or NoSQL. For example, if we are reviewing a conceptual data model that has characteristics of a physical data model such as attribute formatting and nullability, we would catch it in this category.
