Chapter 4 DATA CHARACTERISTIC STRUCTURE

A data characteristic structure shows all the data characteristics in each data subject and their roles relating to the data structure. It represents the logical structure of data and the data names are the fully spelled out primary data names. It consists of the data subject name, one or more primary keys, any foreign keys, and a list of all data characteristics in the data structure, including the data characteristics contained in the primary keys and foreign keys.

The data subjects are listed in alphabetical order with the name shown in bold font.
