The Canon EOS R8 has some great features that will be especially prized by professional videographers. It has headphone and microphone jacks, focus peaking and zebra exposure indicators, and can capture both Canon Log (C-log) or HDR PQ video with view assist for both (so you can play back high-dynamic range clips on the camera or an HDMI monitor). Although videography merits a book of its own, I hope to provide you with a good introduction to your camera’s movie-making prowess in this chapter.
