Live previewing of images on the back-panel LCD was something that point-and-shoot cameras did routinely, but was impossible with any camera in the dSLR world. If you wanted movies, you tucked a camcorder in your camera bag alongside your digital SLR, and both Wi-Fi and GPS tagging were pro features that required specialized equipment. If you had a particular application that helped you with your photography, you had to lug a laptop computer and endure the slow boot-up process each time you wanted to use it.
