Other Important Controls

There are some other standard camera controls that you need to learn about. Some of them, like the Playback button, use an almost universal symbol of a directional triangle pointing right inside a box (see the example upper left in Figure 3.3, earlier). Others, such as control rings and dials and keypads, vary from camera to camera even though they are similar in concept. Most of these will commonly be found on the back of the camera, but once in a while individual buttons may be located on the top or front of the camera.
