I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Advanced Scenarios
Thus far, we have progressed beyond the fundamentals of DAX to explore complex calculations across a wide variety of subject areas and scenarios. However, in almost all cases, the focus of each scenario was computing a particular metric or KPI. This chapter expands the types of problems that can be solved using DAX by exploring advanced scenarios that have wide application across a range of reporting needs. In some cases, this means changing the default behavior of Power BI itself such as with using inverse and AND slicers. In other cases, it is about expanding the range of visualizations by using scalable vector graphics (SVG). DAX even has the power to solve tricky visualization problems or even warp time.
