It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Complex Patterns
As your DAX skills mature, you’ll inevitably encounter scenarios that go beyond simple aggregations, date intelligence measures, or even some of the more advanced scenarios discussed throughout this book. These complex patterns often arise when real-world business logic doesn’t fit neatly into traditional model structures or when relationships between data elements are indirect, conditional, or intentionally disconnected.
Similar to Chapter 13, Advanced Scenarios, this chapter focuses on identifying, deconstructing, and solving some of the more complex, reoccurring DAX patterns.
