4.3.3 For which objects should I create minilogs?
The purpose of this section is only to give a few suggestions for which types of
objects, minilogs can be a good idea.
The main reason to create minilogs is to reduce recovery time. Therefore the first
consideration, as to which objects to create minilogs for, is which are your most
critical objects in your database. Objects that you have to be able to recover in a
very short time can benefit from having a minilog available, instead of having to
process all the logs since the last backup.
Minilogs can also be a very interesting option for those tables or table spaces
that have very infrequent updates. To avoid having to scan a large number of
