Transactional Logging Improvements
There are a number of improvements to the transactional logging capabilities of DB2. Logging capacity has been increased, along with logging performance. Meanwhile, configuration parameters have been added that enable DBAs to closely control the logging activity of transactions.
Increased Log Space
The maximum amount of log space that can be defined has been increased from 32 GB to 256 GB. This provides support for large numbers of concurrent transactions and database applications that require large transactions.
