Abstract

An emerging stream of research focuses on the complex interface between social entrepreneurs and their local contexts. The main insight of this research is that social entrepreneurs are embedded in “social entrepreneurship ecosystems” (SEEs) – the interdependent actors and factors in local communities that enable social entrepreneurship.
