Being Led and Managed by Gen Y

Thirty pounds, ten years, one decent job, and one wife ago, you were at the top of your game. You were aging nicely, distinctive and refined, so they said. Just enough wisdom to be admired and still enough sex appeal to be desired; that was you. While you were putting your kids through college, life came crashing down around your comfortable shoes. Just as you made your last tuition payment, your investor was sent to prison.1

And now your new manager is a tattooed, text-addict, Gen Y, twenty-something. Look at the bright side. As Igor says in the 1974 movie Young Frankenstein,2 it “Could be worse…could be raining.”
