Abstract
Networks have evolved from time to time as 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, and currently 5G, which is in the testing phase in many countries, with researchers experiencing security issues. First, we will tell the evolution of technology, how it occurs, and then explain the networks, how the network works, and how the internet connects the whole world. How it impacts offline businesses, the role of 5G in the growing online business, its role in social media, and so on shall also be discussed. This chapter also focuses on how the 5G network impacts modern technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and self-driving cars.
Finally, if all current problems with 5G networks are resolved, it could become the foundation of the Smart City concept, which is expected to solve many ongoing problems associated with infrastructure, public transport, environment, etc. This work goes a step further and introduces a Smart Resource and Service Discovery application, based on intent recognition and machine learning-assisted techniques, to enable the automated discovery of resources and services exposed over the marketplace. Evaluation results demonstrate ...
