Foreword

I am both honored and excited to write the foreword for Joli Ballew’s latest book, Degunking Windows 7. I was a huge fan of its predecessor, Degunking Windows, back in 2004, and I had Joli and her co-author, Jeff Duntemann, on my radio show several times. Degunking Windows was a hot topic for my listeners back then (as it is today), and I always had a large audience anytime either Joli or Jeff was on the air with me.

Now we have Windows 7, and thank goodness we have this new book to deal with the gunk we’ll acquire and the performance degradation that’s bound to occur eventually.
