Einstein once said, “The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking as when we created them.” When it comes to the metrics that most of industry uses, the problem that we face is insidious. It permeates nearly everything we do as manufacturing and supply chain entities—it has everything to do with the way we think and behave as organizations.
