13. Elastic Kubernetes Service from AWS

AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service has been generally available since 2018.¹ It is one of the major implementations of Kubernetes-as-a-Service on a public cloud. It has since then grown and offers tailored solutions for running container-based workloads in AWS as we will see in this chapter.
