Digital twins can help an organization plan, build, and orchestrate entire networks virtually, prior to deploying in production, which can range from complete brownfield or greenfield deployments to small incremental changes in existing network infrastructure. These virtual network topologies have paved the way for functional and feature testing, demonstrating how a specific deployment would look and feel, and providing familiarity with the protocols in use and the interactions between them.
