Some important notes: We will now create the Cloud Service implementation as an example workflow in Visual Studio, but depending on your desired programming language, you can also use Eclipse or IntelliJ IDE.

We are using Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise Edition for work, but you can also use any other edition of Visual Studio for this. To prevent unnecessary expense, the free Visual Studio Community Edition is sufficient for our purposes completely.

Because we want to work with Microsoft Azure, you must start Visual Studio in the Run as Administrator mode:

  1. Open Visual Studio, and then click the New Project... link:
