
Csano toyed with showing a
Hand of Fatima as a central
iconic image, but the client
considered this idea too
abstract and requested Csano
use photographs from the
performances of the individual
works.
Csano’s first sketches for
Trilogie imagined a literal
trilogy of geometric spaces,
made up of mini posters based
on the original design of the
Babylone poster. While this
idea establishes the tripartite
nature of the performance very
clearly, it doesn’t quite capture
the magnitude of the event,
imparted by a larger title that
encompasses all three.
