
Martínez and Martín took the
museum newsletter through a
similar process as the posters
and stationery. The progres-
sion steps through photo-
graphic and, subsequently,
strictly typographic presenta-
tion, supported by the ceramic
images. The pottery is itself
altered through added color to
separate it slightly from the
context of the institutional
materials.
After numerous iterations of posters, signage,
and a newsletter/magazine, the designers
established two approaches to image use. “We
chose illustration to relate directly to the col-
lections and photography to build more
abstract concepts for promotional purposes,”
