made, Knowles created a base
pattern as a guide and began
to explore ways of reinventing
it. From early on, he estab-
lished an approach using
smaller, pixel-like elements to
make the camouflage part of
contemporary culture, possi-
bly commenting on the nature
of cyber culture as a kind of
camouflage.
