Asset information model (AIM) The term used to describe the PIM following its handover to the client for use in CAFM or asset management systems.
Asset management system A software system used to assist the asset management of a building.
BIM Building Information Modelling.
BIM model A multidisciplinary design model prepared using BIM technologies. Reference would be made to the BIM model rather than the general arrangement drawings.
