INTRODUCTION

AS WE BEGIN THE NEW CENTURY, MY CRYSTAL BALL TELLS ME THAT WE ARE SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INFORMATION AGE. With not only the ability, but the need to have ready access to all sorts of information from anywhere on the globe, we have come to expect that we will have ready availability to any information that we need, day or night. Whether we are in the office, telecommuting, or temporarily mobile, we naturally expect to have access to the resources necessary for us to do our job efficiently and accurately.
