CRYPTOGRAPHY IS CONCERNED WITH THE DESIGN AND USE OF ENCRYPTION SYSTEMS, AND ITS PRIMARY OBJECTIVE IS TO ENSURE THE PRIVACY AND AUTHENTICITY OF DATA. Encryption provides privacy by transforming data into an unintelligible form through the use of a key, which is a symbol or group of symbols that controls the encryption or decryption processes.
