Abstract

Organizational structure of where a SOC reports to is an unresolved topic but can greatly influence the outcomes of a SOC and how the SOC operates. More importantly to where a SOC reports is how a SOC operates and its internal structure. The authority of the SOC and the ability of the SOC to execute are paramount to the proper reporting lines of a well-functioning and properly executing SOC.
