This chapter provides an overview of learning styles, including definitions, theories, and models. Learning style research has produced many theories and models that have been applied in various settings such as academia and industry to explain how different people approach learning, as well as how they acquire and process information. Each model offers a different perspective on which elements of individual characteristics affect the learning process.
