Designing Your App’s Icon
So far, we’ve wireframed our app and designed it. You might be thinking that we’re just about ready to hand off the designs to be built, and in some cases, depending on your process and workflow, this may be true. But if you’re like me, you will want to continue the design process and work on your app’s icon as well. Previously considered an afterthought, app icon design is now pretty much its very own art form. For example, there are designers who focus solely on designing App icons as a specialty. If you do a search for app icons you’ll find lots of articles and discussions, some how-to’s, and even some app icon generators.
