This chapter provides context for the reader, explaining the author’s journey into the subject of sustainability and his decision to become an advocate for the SDGs and to chair a branch of UNA dedicated to this purpose.
Why I wrote this chapter
I’ve taken a bit of a liberty with this chapter by writing a short biography about myself. It’s not that I want to blow my own trumpet or make this book a personal affair. I just think it’s relevant for you to know a bit about my life at headline level in so far as it is relevant to the SDGs.
