Ernst G. Beier, Ph.D. (Columbia University), Emeritus Professor of Psychology at University of Utah, is internationally known for his contributions to psychotherapy, especially in the realm of nonverbal behavior. He is active in professional matters and has served as president of a division of the American Psychological Association, a Chairman of its convention board and on its council of Representatives. He has been President of the Utah Psychological Association and a member of The National Institute of Mental Health Small Grants Committee. He also has served on numerous educational boards.
