Michael D. Yapko, Ph.D. (United States International University), practices clinical psychology in San Diego, California, where he is also Director of the Milton H. Erickson Institute of San Diego. Recently Dr. Yapko assumed the position of Editor of the Erickson Foundation Newsletter.
Yapko authored Trancework: An Introduction to Clinical Hypnosis and When Living Hurts: Directives for Treating Depression, and edited Hypnotic and Strategic Interventions: Principles and Practice. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Ericksonian Monographs.
