Alfred Lange, Ph.D. (University of Amsterdam), is Lecturer at the University of Amsterdam in the departments of Social Psychology and Clinical Psychology. He coauthored Directive Family Therapy and has published three Dutch-language books on directive therapy, family therapy, and behavior therapy. Lange serves on the editorial boards of the American Journal of Family Therapy, the Journal of Family Psychology, and the Dutch Journal of Directive Therapy and Hypnosis. He is a board member of the Dutch Society of Family and Couples Therapy and the Dutch Society of Psychotherapy.
