Reflections on Training by Erickson: The Mirror Within

(East Texas State University), reminds us that the behind-the-mirror team approach used to train psychotherapists has the benefit of objectivity and input from a number of observers. She describes how her father, Milton Erickson, had a utilization approach that harnessed some of the power of the team without relying on the technology of the observation room. New case descriptions shed light on Erickson’s resourceful and perceptive approach.
