DevOps can enable you to reduce interpersonal friction, eliminate bottlenecks, improve collaboration, increase job satisfaction through engineer empowerment, and accelerate team productivity. DevOps is no silver bullet, but it can have massive impact on your organization and your products.

In this chapter, I emphasize the importance of culture over process and tooling, discuss the principles and values of DevOps, and dive into how your organization will benefit from a DevOps approach.
