“The cloud” refers to vendor delivery of cloud computing services. These services include physical infrastructure such as servers, data storage, networking, software services, deployments, monitoring, and more. Cloud services allow for faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scale. You typically pay only for cloud services you use, which helps you lower your operating costs, run your infrastructure more efficiently, and scale as your business needs change.
