Postal Battles Heat Up
By 1980, DHL was operating in almost every continent, and had encountered regulatory barriers all along the way. The most threatening of these battles came from the post offices, belligerent and indignant in the belief that DHL was illegal because it contravened their legal monopoly to carry letters.
