Now that you have an understanding of the basic color depths used in most digital image editing and compositing pipelines, we are going to be focusing on the 32-bit RGBA mode from here on out. The RGBA mode is tantamount for all of the compositing layers in an image composite other than the 24-bit color image back plate.
