Purpose: To Practice the Art of Seeing.

Photography is a visual, non-verbal art form, a medium of observation. Photographers are skilled in observing what is before them, finding meaningful connections, and dismissing muddle. Iconic American documentary photographer Dorothea Lange saw the camera as an instructional device for teaching people how to see without a camera.
