I’m always amazed when I notice other project managers (PMs) who don’t regularly produce or distribute schedules. It happens more than one might think. What are they using to manage their projects, and how do they get away with it? I like to create the schedule right away and use it as a method for taking control of the process before things start spinning out of control, which could happen early-on since the schedule also serves as our process map.
