DVS Archiving and Storage

Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of the various methods of archiving security video footage from a DVR to an NVR, cloud storage, virtualization, and an “open architecture” video appliance and even converting a computer into a DVR. The key factor in choosing the best method is based on nonfunctional requirements of the system.
