The digital wedding photographer must perform several basic jobs on the computer. For each job, there
are often several different software options that range in price and complexity. The following list covers
the software needed for the major tasks of a digital wedding photographer.
Image manipulation: Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or ACDSee Pro
Image browsing and organization: ACDSee Pro, Breeze Browser, or iView Media Pro
Downloading flash cards: ACDSee Pro or Breeze Downloader Pro
Make slide shows in the EXE format, which cannot be printed by the client: Pix to EXE or
ProShow Gold/Producer
Create DVD slide shows: Proshow Gold (or the more expensive Producer version)
