Chapter 8 The Science of Successful Recruiting

The basis for creating wealth in Leveraged Sales is facilitating duplication down the group. To do that, you have to follow the formula we discussed earlier:

Anyone with any level of experience or education can follow these simple steps. And you will notice that all of these involve using third-party resources. This makes sure that the business is not about you and that anyone can duplicate your results.

Examples of third-party tools would be product catalogs and brochures, a booklet explaining the comp plan, videos, audios, replicated websites, a presentation flipchart, or online presentations. Even product samples and a testimonial from someone on a three-way call would qualify as third-party tools. Believe it or not, having extra copies of this book can be a powerfully effective third-party follow-up tool. You certainly wouldn’t give it to everyone. But when you have a serious candidate and they express a genuine desire to understand the business before they join, this book can educate them to the huge potential the business offers.

It’s not an accident that the word “science” is in this chapter’s title. Because there really is a science to presenting the business ...
