Trustworthiness
I believe that trust is a critical aspect of defining our emotional intelligence in any given context, whether it be individually, collectively, or as whole organisations of people.
We all know just how important that single word ‘trust’ is. We also know what it feels like when trust is absent. Each word and action is recorded in the subconscious part of the brain. It gives us clues as to the trustworthiness of others.
It is not just what people say and do that creates trust; it is also how they behave, react, move, even breathe. Pretty much every element of human behaviour sends out strong messages about the level of trust we perceive in other people.
