The NOSM Health Sciences Library Experience
Innovative educational technologies are important to any academic institution. Since opening in 2005, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) has sought to address health-care disparities in the north with academic programs that are structured to specifically attract, train, and retain physicians for practice in northern communities.
Learners, faculty, and staff may be geographically dispersed and may never enter the health sciences library’s physical spaces.
