Integrating Online Library Instruction Into a University English Curriculum

Abstract

This case study chronicles the vision, development process, and current status of an integrated online library instruction initiative at the University of Saskatchewan in western Canada. This mandatory program introduces first-year English students to the services of the university library and helps them develop basic information literacy and research skills to be used throughout their degree program.
