Use font mapping in your plugin

Indicate which fonts you’re going to use with a font-mappings file.

The first step in setting up your plugin to use font mapping is to map the three default logical fonts to corresponding physical fonts. FOP automatically looks for fonts in a default location, which depends on your operating system. For Windows, this location is the Fonts folder. For Macintosh, there are two locations: the Library/Font folder and the Library/Fonts folder in your Users folder. For Linux, the location varies depending on your Linux distribution (the most common location is /usr/share/fonts).

  1. Copy font-mappings.xml from DITA-OT/plugins/org.dita.pdf2/cfg/fo/ to DITA-OT/plugins/
