Create multiple numbering formats for ordered lists

Create numbering schemes for additional levels of ordered list.

According to your specification, top-level numbered list items should use 1, 2, 3, etc. and nested numbered list items should use i, ii, iii, etc. To figure out what you need to do to make this happen, let’s look at how ordered list numbering is set up.

  1. Open en.xml and find the Ordered List Number variable:
    <variable id="Ordered List Number"><param ref-name="number"/>. </variable>

Notice how this variable doesn’t actually contain a character, like the variable for the unordered list bullet? Instead, it contains a parameter followed by a period. Keep that in mind.
