Set page margins

Specify the top, bottom, inside, and outside margins of the pages in your custom PDF.

After defining page dimensions, the next logical step is to define the four outer page margins.

  1. Copy the following from DITA-OT/plugins/org.dita.pdf2/cfg/fo/attrs/basic-settings.xsl to your copy of basic-settings.xsl:

    <xsl:variable name="page-margin-inside" select="$page-margins"/>
    <xsl:variable name="page-margin-outside" select="$page-margins"/>
    <xsl:variable name="page-margin-top" select="$page-margins"/>
    <xsl:variable name="page-margin-bottom" select="$page-margins"/>
  2. Change the values as shown here:
    <xsl:variable name="page-margin-inside">1in</xsl:variable> ...
